History
Ο Νικόλαος Δίγκας Χαρδαλιάς ήταν δικηγόρος στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Είχε αναπτύξει πολιτική δράση με την Ένωση Κέντρου του Γεωργίου Παπανδρέου, μετά πέρασε στις τάξεις της ΕΔΗΚ, με την οποία ήταν υποψήφιος βουλευτής στη Θεσσαλονίκη και στη συνέχεια εντάχθηκε στο ΠΑΣΟΚ. Επί σειρά ετών διετέλεσε πρόεδρος των ιδιοκτητών ακινήτων Βορείου Ελλάδος. Στις 6 Νοεμβρίου 1986 ανέλαβε πρόεδρος του ΔΣ του ΟΛΘ και παραιτήθηκε στις 22 Απριλίου 1988.
