Ο Σαρφάτι Σαμουήλ ήταν Λιμενεργάτης. Ήταν ιδρυτικό μέλος και πρόεδρος του ΔΣ του Σωματείου Εργατών Μεταφοράς Λιμένος Θεσσαλονίκης που ιδρύθηκε στις 1922-06-15. Μετά το 1925 συμμετείχε της ομάδας λιμενεργατών 1 της ΕΖΘ η οποία είχε αναλάβει την Αποθήκη 1 και 2. Στις 1931-09-08 μεταφέρεται στην Ομάδα Λιμενεργατών 3 που έχει ευθύνη την αποθήκη 4.
