ThPA S.A. recognizes the archival documents as a valuable material for the documentation of the historical route of the port, but also of the city. In this direction, it presents the "Historical and Archival Digital Footprint of Thessaloniki Port", an innovative digital platform for highlighting the historical archives of the Authority. Based on the ArchiveMax software and international archival description standards, the platform offers access to thousands of digitized archival documents and their multi-layered description. At the same time, all these are combined with key elements of the corporate history, composing a multi-active archival and historical puzzle. Documents, bulletins, registers and engineering drawings of Thessaloniki Free Zone, Thessaloniki Port Fund, Thessaloniki Port Committee for Loading Regulation are accompanied by historical information and are able to document studies on very different topics, such as the architectural port history or the history of industrial and port remains, the history of port labor, the administrative, economic, social and cultural history of port Authorities.
